Learning a new language can feel overwhelming with so many options out there. I’ve recently been looking into apps that feature subtitles, as I find that reading along really helps reinforce what I’m learning. I’m curious about which apps might offer the best overall experience.

So far, I’ve considered FluentU, which uses real-world videos with interactive subtitles, as well as Netflix’s language settings. I’d love to hear from anyone who has had success with apps that focus on this method. What features did you find most helpful in your learning journey? I’ve been using Babbel lately, and their dialogues come with subtitles that really help with pronunciation. The interactive exercises after the videos are solid, too. I found it super helpful in picking up slang and casual conversation that I wouldn’t normally learn from textbooks.
