Effective Techniques for Improving Focus and Memory Retention

Staying focused while studying different subjects can be quite challenging, particularly in fields like UX design. Many of us struggle to retain information and organize our notes effectively. So what can really help enhance focus and improve memory retention?

There are various techniques out there, such as spaced repetition and active recall, but it can be overwhelming to decide which methods are truly effective. What strategies or tools have others found helpful in boosting their memory during their studies? Also, how do you maintain concentration during those lengthy study sessions? I’d love to hear your tips and experiences!

I’ve had some luck with the Pomodoro technique—25 minutes of focused study followed by a 5-minute break really helps me keep my concentration. For memory, I like using flashcards for tricky concepts; they help me recall stuff better when I quiz myself later. It’s so much easier to remember things when you make it a bit of a game!
