When it comes to creative writing, identifying which skills to focus on can be quite challenging. What do you think sets a writer apart? Are there particular techniques or exercises that have helped you hone your creative writing abilities?

Character development is huge! I took a workshop where we spent a whole week just on crafting backstories, and it changed everything for my writing. Also, try writing prompts focused on dialogue; it really helps with making conversations feel real and engaging.
