Is a Bachelor's in Computer Science Through Distance Learning Worth It?

Pursuing a bachelor’s in computer science through distance learning can be overwhelming, especially with so many options out there. The flexibility of online programs is definitely appealing, but I often question the quality of education and whether they truly prepare students for the tech industry. Personally, I thrive on self-study and organization, so this could be a game changer for me.

I’ve been managing various subjects in my studies, but I’m eager to build a strong foundation in computer science. My main challenge is finding an accredited program that offers a comprehensive curriculum while still providing the flexibility I need. Has anyone here taken a similar path? What was your experience like, and do you think it enhanced your job opportunities after graduation? What key factors did you consider when making your decision?

I did a distance learning program in computer science last year, and honestly, it was pretty good! Flexibility helped me balance work and studies. Just make sure to check for accreditation and dive into the curriculum before deciding. Also, networking with classmates online really boosted my confidence and job prospects afterward!
