Is BYU Online High School a Good Option for Adult Learners?

Many adult learners are exploring online education options, and BYU’s online high school program stands out. It seems to offer a flexible way for those looking to finish their education or enhance their qualifications. However, insights from past students would be really helpful.

How do the courses stack up in terms of quality and support, particularly for those juggling jobs or other responsibilities? What subjects are offered, and are the materials engaging? If you’ve taken any of BYU’s online courses, what was your experience like? Would you say it was a valuable investment in your education? Looking forward to hearing your thoughts!

I haven’t taken the courses myself, but I heard the flexibility really helps with balancing work and school. A friend of mine did a few classes there and said the support was decent, but some subjects felt kind of basic. Were you looking for anything specific—like certain subjects or maybe a certain level of help?

I tried a couple of courses last year, and while the flexibility was nice, I found some materials kinda basic. The support was okay, but often, I felt like I was on my own. If you’re super motivated, it might be a good fit, but just be prepared for some of the content to feel a bit outdated.
