Finding a balance between studying and earning money can be tough, especially in a challenging field like data science. Many of us are looking for ways to gain practical skills while also supporting our education financially. Has anyone found effective strategies to achieve both without compromising their studies?

I’ve thought about taking on freelance projects to apply my learning, but it feels a bit risky without a strong foundation. Internships are another option I’m considering, but they often require a significant time commitment that I’m unsure I can handle right now. For those already working in data science, how did you manage this? Did you find a particular type of job that helped you while you were learning?

I took on some tutoring gigs while I was learning, which worked well for me. It helped reinforce my own knowledge and I could set my own hours, so it didn’t clash with studying too much. Plus, teaching others really solidified my understanding of the concepts!

Also, you might want to check out Kaggle competitions; they’re a good way to learn and sometimes even have cash prizes. Balancing everything is tough, but those options could work well!
