With options like communication, teamwork, and adaptability, it can feel overwhelming to pinpoint the ones that will appeal most to employers.

I’ve read that many companies are increasingly valuing these skills when hiring. I’m curious whether certain soft skills are more sought after in specific industries or if it’s generally better to stick to the more common ones. For those who have recently gone through this process, what soft skills did you choose to highlight, and how did you come to that decision?

I’d definitely focus on communication and teamwork, especially if you’re applying for roles that involve a lot of collaboration. In my last job search, I tried to give real examples, like projects where I led a team or improved group discussions. Helps to show how those skills actually made a difference, you know?
